Benefits of Participation:

  • Receive free Brief Behavioral Therapy for sleep.
  • Learn more about these sleeping issues that may develop during and post-treatment so you can prevent or manage them.
  • Note: All assessments are done at home or during your scheduled visits for treatment. You will NOT have to make an extra visit for the sole purpose of participating in this study.

    Study Procedures:

  • Receive Brief Behavioral Therapy during the 6 weeks of our study or after, depending on your randomization arm. There will be 6 sessions offered (1/week), which consists of 2 face-to-face conversations and 4 phone calls. The face-to-face sessions can take up to one hour, while the phone call sessions can take up to 20 minutes.
  • Complete assessment questionnaires at 2 time points: baseline and after 6 weeks.
  • Complete daily sleep diaries.
  • Wear a watch-like device (Actiwatch 2) that measures light and activity for the duration of the study.
  • Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Must have a diagnosis of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
  • Be able to understand spoken and written English.
  • Must NOT be currently pregnant or nursing.
  • Must NOT have pre-existing chronic sleep problems, sleep apnea or restless leg syndrome.
  • Must NOT have a history of substance abuse or current alcohol abuse/dependence.
